Research Registrar position in Vascular Neurology - posted Jan 2010

Applications are invited for the post of Research Registrar in Vascular Neurology to Dr. Dominick McCabe at AMNCH/Trinity College Dublin, commencing July 1st 2010.

The successful applicant will be involved in the active local, national and international research programme at AMNCH and TCD coordinated by Dr. McCabe. He/she will be expected to complete a supervised Translational Research Project in Cerebrovascular Disease leading to the award of a PhD in Neurological Studies.

Applicants will have subspecialty training in the management of patients with TIA, stroke, asymptomatic carotid stenosis and other neurological disorders, and have the opportunity to participate in the Neurology on-call rota at AMNCH.

Applicants must possess MRCPI / MRCP or equivalent by July 1st 2010, and be committed to a career in Neurology or Vascular Medicine.
