The 10th Meeting of the European Network for the Cure of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ENCALS) will be held in the Biomedical Sciences Building at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland on May 25 - 27th 2012.

The meeting is now open for registration and abstract submission.

ENCALS Young Investigator Award

The ENCALS Award Committee invites applicants for the 2012 ENCALS Young Investigator Award.

Eligibility: To be eligible you must be 40 or younger on 1 September 2012.

Criteria : The award will be given to the Young Investigator Meeting delegate who, in the opinion of the panel, has generated research that is most outstanding or innovative. Criteria will include any or all of novelty, challenge to existing ideas about ALS, results with patient benefit, and impact on our understanding of ALS.
The awardee will be asked to give a presentation of their work.

Application procedure: To apply, please submit a one page structured abstract of your work, a letter of support from your supervisor and a CV. Please send these to Petra Berk (P.A.Berk@umcutrecht.nl) and copy Ammar Al-Chalabi (ammar.al-chalabi@kcl.ac.uk). Closing date for submissions is Friday 9 March 2012.
