Diaspora Meeting 2006

The Irish Institute of Clinical Neuroscience's biennial Diaspora Meeting took place on Thursday 9th and Friday 10th November at No 6 Kildare Street, Dublin.

Presentations from Irish Neuroscientists working abroad informed the Irish Neuroscience community regarding the exciting research being conducted in centres in other countries. This experience formed and maintained collaborative opportunities and allowed Irish trainees to investigate possibilities of further training in centres abroad.

The Royal Academy of Medicine in Ireland's Registrar's Prize in Neurology was awarded at the Meeting.  Two prize categories were awarded, for best clinical case report and for best scientific research presentation. The standard of presentation was extremely high in both categories.
