The 46th annual Irish Neurological Association Meeting, under the presidency of Dr. Stanley Hawkins, will take place on May 27th and 28th 2010 at the Europa hotel, Belfast.

Abstract submission.


This is the first call for abstracts for poster or platform presentation. The closing date for submission is Friday, 12th March.
N.B. Submissions will not be accepted following the closing date.
Abstracts should be submitted in Microsoft Word by virus-free email to the IICN at admin@iicn.ie  
Submissions must be limited to 200 words. Please attach the names of authors, indicating the presenter, the Institution(s)/place of work and contact email address and telephone. Please indicate preference for platform or poster presentation.

Abstract submissions must be supported by a member of the Irish Institute of Clinical Neuroscience. Receipt of abstracts will be notified to the presenter, who will again be contacted following selection of abstracts

Guest Lecture

The Guest Lecture will be delivered by Professor Semir Zeki. 
Semir Zeki is Professor of Neuroesthetics at University College London, Fellow of the Royal Society and member of the American Philosophical Society. He is interested in the organization of the visual brain and in the brain processes that underlie artistic creativity and appreciation. His books include "Inner Vision; an exploration of art and the brain" and Splendors and Miseries of the Brain"

Continuing Medical Education

Accreditation for 9 CME points has been granted to the INA Meeting 2010 by the Royal College of Physicians Northern Ireland Office.
Please sign the Continuing Medical Education sheet at the registration desk at the meeting.

Registration for the meeting must be submitted on or before Monday, May 17th as hospitality services cannot be provided if notified after this date.
