
Mr. Donncha O'Brien will direct an Update in Neurosurgery Meeting at Clontarf Castle Hotel, Dublin, on Friday, November, 20th. This is a one day meeting the aim of which is to provide up-to-date information and developments in Neurosurgery, with emphasis on the latest treatments.
The meeting is aimed at senior clinicians who refer patients for neurosurgery and those who wish to expand their knowledge regarding the indications for and treatments available, in neurosurgery. The content will also be appropriate for trainees in neurology, neurosurgery, emergency medicine, general surgery, anaesthetics, internal medicine, cardiology, general practice and other disciplines.
Programme
The Institute is pleased to present eminent speakers, each of whom is acknowledged as expert in their specialist area. The format of the meeting is designed to facilitate questions and discussion with delegates to the meeting.
A special lecture will be delivered by Mr. Christopher Pidgeon, consultant neurosurgeon, Beaumont Hospital, who will reflect on a career in neurosurgery.
