National Brain Awarenees Week, the Neurological Alliance of Ireland and member organisations

The aim of National Brain Awareness Week (BAW) is to raise awareness of neurological conditions throughout Ireland.
Neurological organisations across the country will be organising events to mark Brain Awareness Week, all of which are listed on the website of the Neurological Alliance of Ireland Brain Awareness Week Events

The NAI will host a keynote conference on Tuesday 10th March in the Biomedical Sciences Building in Trinity College Dublin from 9am until 2pm. Please click the link to follow for details of this conference NAI / Irish Brain Council Conference

Please see listed below a selection of events to celebrate Brain Awareness Week

  • Multiple Sclerosis: Relapsing Remitting, Progressive and Benign MS, Developments and Treatments in MS (with Q&A session). March 7th,  Carlton Hotel, near Dublin airport
     
  • Parkinson's Information Stand in Dublin Airport (T1) during Brain Awareness Week
    As part of Brain Awareness Week the PAI will have an Information Stand in Dublin Airport. We will have leaflets and other information on Parkinson's Disease and also information on the services we offer. We will be situated in Terminal 1 at Arrivals between the hours of 11am and 3pm. All support will be welcomed.
     
  • The Migraine Association of Ireland is holding evening events this week in Athlone and Kildare – there is no cost to attend and all are welcome. Read more
