Summary of Diaspora Meeting 2004

The 3rd Diaspora Meeting took place on November 11th - 12th 2004 at the Conrad Hotel, Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin 2.

On Wednesday, November 10th, there was a meeting at the Mansion House, Dawson Street, Dublin the objective of which was to highlight neurology as a priority for development in the health service.Please click here for a report of the meeting

On Thursday, November 11th, a morning symposium exploring how neurological services should be planned, took place in The Conrad Hotel, Earlsfort Street, Dublin 2.  Please click here for a summary of the symposium and here for a report on the workshops.

An afternoon seminar highlighting the value of Engineering to the clinical neurosciences took place in the same venue.

On Friday, November 12th, the main "Diaspora" scientific meeting was held in The Conrad Hotel, Earlsfort Street, Dublin 2.  This meeting provides a forum where Irish clinical neuroscientists working overseas are invited to present their research work.
