IICN / UCB Pharma Bursary in Neuroscience

Applications are invited for the biennial IICN / UCB Pharma Neuroscience Bursary.

The award will be made to a young neuroscientist working in a clinical neuroscience discipline to facilitate a research project. Amounts up to a maximum value of €20,000 will be awarded to the successful applicant.

Priority will be given to research involving movement disorder or epilepsy, including research on disease mechanisms, aetiology, diagnosis and treatment. IICN may recommend that the award could be used towards part funding of a major piece of research work (E.g. PhD/MD).

Applicant should be under 40 years of age and should have a letter of recommendation from an IICN member. A detailed CV should accompany the application together with a signed letter from the head of department in which the work will take place.
