IICN/GSK Grant in Clinical Neuroscience

The IICN, in conjunction with GlaxoSmithKline, invite applications for a Grant in Clinical Neuroscience.
The Grant is co-funded by the IICN and GlaxoSmithKline.
Aim

The aim of the IICN / GlaxoSmithKline Grant is to provide support funding for new or existing research and/or education in neuroscience in Ireland.

Areas covered

Applications may be submitted for projects ranging from

  • support for an existing Fellowship grant
  • travel to an international centre to gain experience or learn a new technique
  • other relevant purpose.

Specification of what items funding may cover will be left open to definition by the applicant but could cover cost of travel, subsistence, registration fees, research etc.

Eligibility
  • Applicants are expected to be at an early to mid-stage of their career, and should be at minimum Registrar or Specialist Registrar grade or equivalent.
  • Applications must be supported by an existing IICN Member

Value of Grant

The grant will be for a maximum amount of €20,000.
