Irish Neuromuscular Association Meeting 2009


The next meeting of the Irish Neuromuscular Association will take place on June 5th and 6th, 2009 under the directorship of Dr. Bryan Lynch, Consultant Paediatric Neurologist, Children's University Hospital, Temple Street.

Please put this date in your diary and consider any cases for presentation at the meeting.

The focus of cases on Friday, June 5th will be predominantly on mitochondrial disease and the meeting is fortunate to have two experts in the area who will deliver guest lectures at the meeting. On Saturday 6th June, cases of interest in all aspects of adult and paediatric neuromuscular disease will be presented. Cases should be approximately 15 minutes duration including 5 minutes for discussion.
Please send your cases to including title of case, authors, affiliated institutions and contact details in your submission before Tuesday, May 26th. 
If you wish to attend the meeting please advise to admin@iicn stating which days you will attend and whether you will be present for the dinner on Friday evening.

Guest Speakers

The Guest Speakers at the meeting will be Prof. R W Taylor PhD, FRCPath, Professor of Mitochondrial Pathology, Newcastle University and Dr Robert McFarland, Mitochondrial Research Group, Newcastle University.

Reservations must be made before Friday May 22nd to avail of this special delegate rate
Delegates are invited to attend dinner 20.00 on Friday 5th June at Clontarf Castle hotel. Please email the IICN at admin@iicn to indicate if you will attend the meeting and whether you will attend the dinner.
