Sleep Symposium


Cephalon Pharma will host a Sleep Disorder Symposium on March 28th and 29th, 2008 at the Four Seasons Hotel, Dublin.

Guest Speaker

The guest speaker will be Professor Emmanuel Mignot. Prof. Mignot is professor of psychiatry and behavioural sciences and director of the centre for narcolepsy at Stanford University School of Medicine, California. He is internationally recognized as having discovered the cause of narcolepsy. He is also known for his discovery of a polymorphism of the "clock" gene that appears to alter individuals' internal biorhythms and for the finding of a gene variant that predisposes to sleep apnoea. Prof. Mignot has received numerous honours for his work in sleep disorder medicine.
